Microcement can be applied to most surfaces, including tiles, concrete, plaster, wood and even worktops. It’s suitable for walls, floors, wet rooms, splashbacks, work surfaces and more.

Yes, our microcement is waterproof  and ideal for wet areas such as bathrooms and showers. Microcement can even be applied to fully submerged areas like swimming pools.

Yes. Microcement is a great addition for underfloor heating and is fully compatible. Heat transferred through the material will not affect the microcement floor in any way. Our micro cements have been manufactured to cope with underfloor heating. It’s one of the best building finish materials for radiating heat.

The full process typically takes 5–7 days, depending on the area size and drying times between layers. We’ll give you a clear timeframe after the survey.

Microcement is very thin — usually around 2–3 mm thick — which means it can be applied without significantly effecting floor levels or wall thicknesses.

Yes. It’s low maintenance and easy to clean with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads to preserve the surface. Once sealed out microcement will never need resealing.

Microcement comes in a wide range of colours and textures, from smooth and matte to rough and industrial. We’ll help you select the right finish to match your interior style. We can colour match our microcement to any paint colour from trusted brands such as Little&Greene, Paint & Paper Library, Farrow & Ball, and many more.

When applied correctly over a stable substructure and substrate , microcement is flexible and resistant to cracking. We take care to prepare surfaces properly and advise on specifications to receive microcement to ensure long-lasting results.
